She said yes, she was just in a recent accident and injured her back. I asked her what her pain level was if she were to rate it on a scale from 0-10. She said it was a 7.
I said, “OK, watch this. We are going to get rid of your pain.” She looked a bit perplexed. I said, “Is it OK if my friend Chris just touches your hand?” She said OK.
I said, “Now watch – the pain is going to start leaving your body. You’re going to begin to feel a warmth and tingling feeling through your body.”
She said, “Yes, I’m feeling that!” She said, “Look, I have goosebumps. I can feel it leaving my back and going down and out my arm.”
I said, “OK, it’s going to get more warm.” She said, “Yes, it is.”
All Chris was doing was holding her hand. He wasn’t praying. Neither was I or anyone else at the table. The next thing she said was, “The pain is all gone!” She leaned over to Chris, gave him a big hug, and said, “Wow! Thank you!”
Chris said, “It wasn’t me. That was Jesus!”
It was powerful and so sweet. We were just having lunch and simply putting Jesus on display with love and power.
